A 19-year-old girl, who was allegedly abducted and raped by a man in a field near her home in the wee hours of January 28, committed suicide in Rajasthan’s Dausa. The girl went missing after the incident and her body was later found in a nearby well. The girl and her mother were allegedly thrashed by the rapist. The police have registered a case in the matter but no arrests have been made so far. The family of the girl is demanding strict action against the rape accused.
